The charming North east village of Longside located in the heartland of rural Aberdeenshire is one of the four villages founded by James Ferguson of Pitlour during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. There has however been a settlement at Longside recorded since 1620.

Begun in 1801 with it's pretty tree-lined street Longside won instant approval and to this day the quality of life has attracted many families to this area. The village now has an active community with a primary school and a range of amenities.

The large towns of Peterhead, Fraserburgh and Ellon and the bustling city of Aberdeen are all highly accessible.
